    annual Winter Wonderland event

    Winter Wonderland6The City of Atlantic City will hold its Winter Wonderland Block Party for children Saturday, Dec. 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the City Hall courtyard at 1301 Bacharach Blvd. (located between City Hall and the Atlantic City Free Public Library). Tickets are free and required to gain admission. This seventh annual holiday event is for Atlantic City children ages 3 to 12 and will be held outdoors. Click here to read more.

    Charging StationThe Atlantic City Free Public Library now offers a charging station after being selected as a contract award winner for funding under LibraryLinkNJ’s “Powering Up: Library Charging Stations Incubator Project.” Those who visit the Main Library will be able to charge their smartphones, laptops and tablets for free in a Kwikboost Charging Station, which features eight secure, ADA-compliant lockers equipped with 16 connectors and fast-charging technology.     with Puerto Rico relief efforts

    Voces Unidas por Puerto RicoThose who wish to help those in Puerto Rico affected by Hurricane Maria can donate emergency supplies at the Main Library and Richmond Branch Library during normal library hours. The supplies will be given to Voces Unidas por Puerto Rico, a group of local organizations, businesses and agencies that formed to assist with the relief efforts in Puerto Rico.     Live Homework HelpStudents who need assistance with homework can receive free, on-demand tutoring help thanks to an online service provided by the Atlantic City Free Public Library. The library offers Live Homework Help™, an online tutoring service powered by Tutor.com™. Students can connect to expert tutors in math, science, social studies and English via the Internet.
