Atlantic City Free Public Library

The Main Library of the Atlantic City Free Public Library is located near City Hall and is adjacent to the Atlantic County Offices. The Library Express is located on the corner of Atlantic and Morris Avenues. The Alfred M. Heston Collection is located within the Main Library. The Atlantic City Historical Musuem is located at the Garden Pier.

Monday-Wednesday Thursday-Saturday Sunday 9:30 AM - 8 PM 9:30 AM - 5 PM 12 - 5 PM Parking There is metered parking on the streets surrounding the library. The library also offers free validation for one hour of parking at the New York Avenue Parking Garage located on South New York Avenue between Atlantic and Pacific Avenues.
	Alfred M. Heston Collection Location and Hours The Alfred M. Heston Collection of Atlantic City history is located within the Main Library, near the Reference Desk, and has open research hours on the days below. No appointment is needed during these hours. Wednesday Thursday 2 PM - 4:30 PM 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM and 2 PM - 4:30 PM

	The Atlantic City Historical Museum Location and Hours Garden Pier South New Jersey Avenue and Boardwalk Atlantic City, NJ 08401 (609) 347-5839 acmuseum.org   ***Please note: The museum is currently closed due to minor damage from hurricane Sandy. It will be reopened as soon as possible.    The museum's normal hours are 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm Free and open to the public   Please note the Museum will be closed on: Christmas Day Thanksgiving New Years Day & Election Day
