    Barbara HudginsThe Atlantic City Free Public Library will hold a special Women’s History Month program – Barbara Hudgins: A Lifetime of Service – on Monday, March 30, at 5:30 p.m. at the Main Library. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Hudgins becoming the first woman elected to the position of Council-At-Large in Atlantic City. She held that position from 1990-2001. Click here to read more.

Board of Trustees

The Atlantic City Free Public Library is an independent municipal library funded and operated by the City of Atlantic City and administered by a Board of Trustees. The members of the Board of Trustees are appointed for five-year terms, and are responsible for overseeing the effective operation of the Library. The Board of Trustees works with the Library staff to provide a broad range of educational, informational and recreational programs and services for the Atlantic City community.
