Library to have delayed opening Feb. 8
The Atlantic City Free Public Library will have a delayed opening on Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, due to computer maintenance. The library will open at 1 p.m. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Make appointment for assistance with tax return
Volunteers from the Tax Aide Program of AARP will be at the Atlantic City Free Public Library to assist the community with their tax returns by appointment only. You must call 1-800-617-1519 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday to schedule an appointment. AARP will be in the Main Library’s second-floor meeting room on Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Feb. 10-April 13.
The Atlantic City Free Public Library and Literacy Volunteers Association Cape-Atlantic are offering a basic adult literacy class for individuals who need help with their reading and writing skills. The class is for adults on a fifth grade reading level or lower. Click here to read more.

Richmond Branch Library has new hours
The Richmond Branch Library, located at 4115 Ventnor Ave., has new hours. The library will remain open Tuesday through Saturday, but it will close for one hour on those days. The new hours are 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
