Online Library Card Application

To apply for an Atlantic City Library Card you must fill out the form below. Free membership is given to residents of Atlantic County, Ocean City and Avalon, NJ. All other applicants can apply for non-resident subscriber membership at $30.00 per year. If you are applying for a subscriber membership please send a personal check or money order via the postal service to:

You will receive an application in the mail within three (3) business days of submitting this electronic application form. Please come to the Library with the received application filled out along with one of the following forms of identification:

  • New Jersey Drivers License
  • New Jersey Casino Control Commission license
  • A computer generated bill from a major credit card company or local utility. It must be postmarked within the last 30 days.

Please note that you must submit identification that matches the address that appears on your application.
