The Atlantic City Free Public Library now offers MP3 CD audiobooks. There are approximately 115 titles — featuring non-fiction, fiction and language learning tool CDs — in the collection. What makes an MP3 CD different than a regular CD? A regular audio CD holds roughly 80 minutes of content, while an MP3 CD can hold much more — even an entire audiobook! That added capacity prevents listeners from being forced to change CDs while enjoying their audiobook. Those interested in listening to an MP3 audiobook must have an MP3 compatible device. Those who don’t have an MP3 compatible CD player can burn the MP3 audiobook on to their computer and listen to it there. Also, MP3 audiobooks can be downloaded to an MP3 player, such as an iPod. |
