  • Make It! To Go: Giant Collage Letters
    When: Tuesday, September 02, 2014 - All Day
    Where: Teen Zone (2nd Floor - Main Library)

    Take home a kit to make a giant decorated letter to hang on a wall or door. Ages 10-18. Pick up your kit in the teen area of youth services. Available while supplies last.
  • Creative Craft Tuesdays
    When: Tuesday, September 02, 2014 - 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
    Where: Children's Room (2nd Floor Main Library)

    Kids age 6-12 use their imagination to make and taka home crafts with seasonal themes. Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. All materials supplied.
  • Preschool Rhyme Time
    When: Thursday, September 04, 2014 - 10:30 AM - 11:15 AM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    Features stories, songs, fingerplays, and simple crafts for ages 3 to 5, accompanied by an adult. Family and siblings are welcome. Library storytimes are a fun way to help your child develop skills they will need to be ready to read.
  • Baby Bounce and Play Group
    When: Thursday, September 04, 2014 - 11:30 AM - 11:55 AM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    Introduce your baby to the world of sounds, movement, and stories, and help build important pre-reading skills. Ages birth to 2.
  • Comic Drawing
    When: Thursday, September 04, 2014 - 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    Marvel/DC comic illustrator Joe Del Beato will lead drawing instruction for children and teens ages 7 to 17. Learn how to draw your favorite characters. In September, Del Beato will lead free workshops focusing on Hispanic characters in comics, cartoons, and graphic novels.
