  • Chess Club

    This library's new chess club is for ages 9-18 and all experience levels. An experienced chess player will be present to teach: Novices who want to learn how to play how to play and players with experience who want to improve. Space limited. Please call youth services to register.
  • Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
    When: Thursday, September 28, 2017 - 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room*** (Split Room)

    Enjoy traditional Hispanic cookie decorating and coloring images from spanish culture with your family. This program is in collaboration with Oceanside Family Success Center. Reservation required. Please call 609-345-2269 XT-3050.

  • Pre-School Rhyme Time
    When: Thursday, October 12, 2017 - 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room*** (Split Room)

    Features stories, songs, fingerplays, creative movement and simple crafts ages 3 to 5, Children must be accompanied by an adult. Family and siblings are welcome. Library story time are fun way to help your child develop skills they will need to be ready to read. Explore the early literacy skills of singing, playing, reading, talking and writing in each storytime. Childcare groups, pelase call in advance.
  • Baby Bouce
    When: Thursday, October 12, 2017 - 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room*** (Split Room)

    This program is designed to introduce infants (ages 0-24 months) to the world of sounds and stories. Stories, rhymes and movements help build pre-reading skills for our littlest library lovers. An informal playgroup immediately follows this story time. Best suited for infants to age 2 with caregiver.
