  • Preschool Rhymetime
    When: Thursday, October 25, 2018 - 10:30 AM - 11:20 AM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room*** (Split Room)

    Features stories, songs, fingerplays, creative movement and simple crafts for ages 3 to 5, Children must be accompanied by an adult. Family and siblings are welcome. Library story times are a fun way to help your child develop skills they will need to be ready to read. Explore the early literacy skills of singing, playing, reading, talking and writing in each storytime. Childcare groups, please call in advance.
  • Baby Bounce and Play Group
    When: Thursday, October 25, 2018 - 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    This program is designed to introduce infants (ages 0-24 months) to the world of sounds and stories. Stories, songs, rhymes and movement help build pre-reading skills for our littlest library lovers. An informal playgroup immediately follows this story time. Best suited for infants to age 2 with caregiver
  • Comic Drawing
    When: Thursday, October 25, 2018 - 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room*** (Split Room)

    Marvel DC Comic Illustrator Joe Del Beato will lead drawing instruction for children and teens ages 7 to 17. Learn how draw your favorite characters. In September, Beato will lead free workshops focusing on Hispanic characters in comics, cartoons and graphic novels. All materials supplied. No experience necessary.
  • Creative Craft Friday
    When: Friday, October 26, 2018 - 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
    Where: Children's Room (2nd Floor Main Library)

    Kids up to age 12 use their imaginations to make and take home crafts with seasonal themes. Children under age 9 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Tween Day in the Teen Lounge
    When: Saturday, October 27, 2018 - 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
    Where: Teen Zone (2nd Floor - Main Library)

    Kids aged 9-12 are invited to rock out in the Teen Space. This is your chance to enjoy gaming: Participants need a library card in good standing to participate.
