'History Hunts' scavenger hunt at Atlantic City Experience
June 26, 2025The Atlantic City Free Public Library will present scavenger hunts - "History Hunts: Look, Locate, and Win" at The Atlantic City Experience (ACX), located at Historic Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall. Prizes will be awarded to both adults and children. Those participating in the scavenger hunts will answer questions based on the ACX displays.
History Hunts for adults will be held:
July 11, 2025, from 2-4 p.m.
History Hunt for kids will be held:
Aug. 8, 2025, from 2-4 p.m.

There will be prizes awarded for both the adult and children's categories:
- First place: $75 gift card and vintage leather journal lined pages with key
- Second place: $50 gift card and the book “Atlantic City 1854-1954: An Illustrated History"
- Third place: $25 gift card and history bookmarks
- (The gift cards for adults will be Visa, and for kids Roblox)
• The hunts will start at 2 p.m. This is a two-hour event: 30 minutes to look around ACX before the hunt begins and 90 minutes for the hunt.
• There will 50 questions that will be collected from the exhibits at the museum.
• Participants will not be allowed to keep their phones. They must work individually.
• Winners will be announced one day after the scavenger hunt.
