Teen Job Skills Virtual Workshop starts Aug. 2

The Atlantic City Free Public Library will host a virtual job skills workshop series for teens. This four-part series will be held Saturdays at 10 a.m. beginning Aug. 2. Registration is required. The workshops are free.

- Resume & Cover Letter Writing: Equips patrons with the skills to craft compelling, well-structured documents that align with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Patrons learn how to highlight their skills, accomplishments, and experience effectively while maintaining professionalism and clarity, supported by relevant examples and data.
- LinkedIn Learning & Online Branding: Guides patrons in optimizing their LinkedIn profiles, strengthening their digital presence, and applying online branding techniques to attract potential employers. They also learn how to leverage LinkedIn to discover and pursue job opportunities.
- Networking with a Growth Mindset: Teaches strategies for building authentic, value-driven professional relationships. This workshop helps patrons develop a proactive networking approach rooted in community engagement and long-term career growth.
- Interview Preparation: Prepares patrons to approach interviews with confidence through proven communication strategies, mock interview practice, and insights into employer expectations. Ideal for job seekers at all levels looking to enhance their readiness and poise.
