Paint & Sip among programs offered at Richmond Branch

Paint and Sip2Published March 2, 2026

The Atlantic City Free Public Library Free Public Library conducted a survey over the last few months related to the Richmond Branch Library. One of the top answers from respondents was that they would like to see more programs at Richmond — and the library will begin offering more beginning in March.

The branch will open extra days for the sole purpose of a few of the programs. (Please note only those who have registered for these programs will be permitted into the library).

  • Craft Monday on Mondays, March 9 and April 6 at 1 p.m. — Adults 18 and older are invited to make crafts. All supplies are provided by the library. Registration required. Register online.
  • Paint & Sip on Thursday, April 23, at 2 p.m. — Following step-by-step instructions, participants will create their own painting while socializing with others and enjoying mocktails. No art experience is necessary. Registration required. Register online.
Richmond will also host programs it has held previously during its normal Tuesday and Wednesday hours of operation.
  • Storytime & Craft on Tuesdays, March 3, 17, 31 and April 14, 28 at 3 p.m. — Kids ages 6-12 will listen to a read aloud and use their imagination to make crafts with seasonal themes. The March 3 program will have a Dr. Seuss story and craft.
  • LEAP iPad Classes (beginners) on Wednesdays, March 18, 25 and April 1, 8, 15, 22 from 12-2 p.m. — These classes are for adults with low vision who want to learn about assistive tools — such as Zoom magnification and VoiceOver — to help them use an iPad or iPhone.
