If you have a passion for discussing and learning about films, we invite you to join the Atlantic City Free Public Library Film Society. Membership is free and open to Library cardholders in good standing, who are 18 years of age and older. Monthly screenings and discussions will be held on Saturday afternoons, and monthly tutorial classes on filmmaking and film history will be held on Monday evenings.
Meetings are conducted by Theresa Hawkins, Film Society Coordinator

Screening & Discussion

View and discuss a 1986 blockbuster film about Navy fighter pilots. It stars Tom Cruise and was directed by Tony Scott. It is rated PG and runs 110 minutes.

5:30 - 7 pm

Classroom Session

Learn about page-to-screen print articles. This classroom session will focus on films that were based on magazine and newspaper articles.
