Adult Reading Challenge to include prizes; registration begins June 25

Universe of StoriesThe Atlantic City Free Public Library is holding an Adult Summer Reading Challenge, and the theme is “A Universe of Stories." Participants can win prizes for reading books, writing reviews, and attending library programs. Those interested register and have a library card in good standing to participate.

Registration for the Summer Reading Challenge will run June 25-July 23. Visit the Circulation Desk to register. The first 50 people to sign up will receive a free summer reading tote bag filled with goodies.

For every book read — this also includes audiobooks and ebooks — that fits the challenge requirements, participants may fill out an entry form to win a prize that will be drawn on Aug. 20. To earn extra entry forms, participants may opt to write a review of the book they read. Attending a library program is another great way to enter the drawing. There will be prizes for the summer’s top readers, as well. Call (609) 345-2269, ext. 3075, for more information.
