Upcoming library events at Atlantic City Free Public Library
  • Teen Anime & Manga Club Halloween Party
    When: Monday, October 27, 2014 - 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    We'll do a 10-minute construction paper cosplay contest, talk costumes and conventions, then watch a creepy anime and have themed snacks!
  • Comic Drawing
    When: Thursday, October 30, 2014 - 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    Marvel/DC comic illustrator Joe Del Beato will lead drawing instruction for children and teens ages 7 to 17. Learn how tot draw your favorite characters. All materials supplied. No experience necessary.

    Registration is REQUIRED for this SAT Practice Test, administered by Kaplan. Study materials are available from the library both in person and online. Please e-mail mengland@acfpl.org or call 609-345-2269 ext. 3050 to sign up. This is the full four-hour SAT practice test. There is no fee to participate. A valid e-mail address is required to receive your scores. Please see library staff if you need help setting up an e-mail account.

  • Teen Advisory Group Meeting
    When: Saturday, November 01, 2014 - 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
    Where: Teen Zone (2nd Floor - Main Library)

    TAG is our teen volunteering group, where teens ages 13-18 can help plan teen events, tell the library what materials to buy, and get volunteer hours for decorating the library, helping with kids events, and more. Free pizza is included with every meeting! Guests are invited during the month of November.
